U.K., The Cascade.

Another postcard from Tony in England (: It shows The Cascade and Cascade House in Chatsworth, Derbyshire. The Cascade is a set of stone steps over which water flows from a set of fountains at the top. It was built in 1696 and rebuilt on a grander scale in 1701. In 1703 a grand baroque Temple or Cascade House was added at the top. It has 24 cut steps, each slightly different and with a variety of textures so that each gives a different sound when water runs over and down them. Got it on July 13th too.

Australia, The Breakaways.

Second postcard from Tasha with heaps of Australian stamp. Eeeeep! :D My favourite stamp is of course the one with platypus. The postcard itself shows The Breakaways in South Australia. The reserve, with its colourful geological features was named "The Breakaways" because from a distance, the plateaus and massive rocks look like they have been broken off the mainland. Got in also on July 13th.

Australia, Something Archaeological.

First postcard from Tasha in Tasmania, Australia. She sent me this postcard simply because it's the most archaeological card she could find in her collection xD Hahaha. Thanks a lot, Tasha! :D Got it on July 13th with four other postcards.

Japan, Ueno Zoo.

A postcard from my high school bestie; Far-chan :)) This smart girl is currently living in Japan for an exchange programme. She wrote that the postcard is a limited edition that was sold in JP Post and it shows the Ueno Zoo, the oldest zoo in Japan which was established in 1882. I especially like the shape and the thickness of the card, apart from the cute picture of pandas and gorillas xD The gorillas look sad while the pandas look happy and smiling. Far-chan wrote "hope you like it!" - are you kidding? I love it! :D Got it at the same time with postcard from Liz.

Poland, Wesołych Świąt.

This Christmas card sent for Christmas last year and yes, I got it last week xD It was sent to my home address in Bandung and I just got back home last week so yeah I got it pretty late. And Pan Tadeusz address it to my passport "official" name instead of to Ayu Supriadi. That's why I blackened it -.- It also got the Tadeusz's humour: no pierogi for you, but here's a Christmas card! xD

Favourite stamps.

U.K., Duchess of Devonshire.

This postcard that Tony sent shows Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire painting by Maria Cosway. The painting now hangs in Chatsworth House. The last postcard I got in June.

Taiwan, Lion Dance.

The postcard shows the lion dance that, based on what Gill wrote, is a special culture from her country and performed in every temple fair. We in Indonesia actually familiar with the dance, as we also have it performed every Chinese New Year and Cap Go Meh (or more Internationally known as Lantern Festival). It's called "Barongsai" in Indonesian language. But it'd be nice to go to Taiwan and see it there :) Arrived on June.
